The south shore of Iceland is a land of contrasts with glaciers, waterfalls green valleys and black beaches.
Both the 62 meters high Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss are both some of the most amazing waterfalls in Iceland it is possible to walk behind Seljalandsfoss and enjoy the stunning view.
The black sand beach of Reynisfjara (where some of scenes of the Games of Thrones were shot) is world famous and has made the fifht place of the Lonely Planet´s list of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. During the summer time is it possible to spot puffins which are nesting in the cliffs above the very spectacular basalt columns. A hike to the Sólheimajökul glacier is an experience not to be forgotten.
You will pass the volcano Eyjafjallajökull which erupted in 2010 and visit he picturesque village Vík which is the southernmost settlement in Iceland known for it´s remarkable cliffs which are standing out of the sea and which are according to the legend trolls that have frozen into a stone.
